| Tiivistelmä: | Which social capabilities does the global management have to develop in particular in order to meet multicultural requirements? Theory and practice emphasize the unprejudiced perception of cultural differences and similarities, the critical exposition of one's own culture and the communication abilities. With the aid of a case example it is explained what a manager can do when he or she plays diverse roles that pave the way for a successful international activity. The concept of ethnoculture is highlighted. Three principles of multicultural competence are outlined. |
