| Tiivistelmä: | Hong Kong's powerful function of city as a whole and its highly advanced financial industry will become the solid cornerstone for establishing Hong Kong's status as the international financial centre. The "China factor" arousing people's attention will, as always, promote the further consolidation and elevation of its status as the international financial centre. The world economic resurgence and the eastward move of the gravity centre of world economic development will also exert broad and positive influence on its future financial development. But at the same time, there exist restrictions and unfavourable factors too. Therefore, we need to take active measures in an efforts to form the best environment--"timeliness, favourable terrain and friendly people" for its development. |
