Tiivistelmä:At present, the ranges of economic growth in the eastern, central and western areas are uneven in China. There exist a great disparity in the proportions of their local GNP to GNP. The gap in industrial development is very obvious. The development speed of township enterprises in the eastern area is obviously higher than that of township enterprises in the central and western areas. To narrow the gap in the regional economic development, we should conduct rational division of work, make superiority complementary and mutually beneficial and realise common co-ordinated development. Besides, the state should increase investment in the central and western areas, expand opening, cultivate new economic growth points and accelerate the development of township enterprises in the central and western areas.
