| Tiivistelmä: | The impacts of the southeastern Asian financial crisis are embodied in the following aspects: the weakening of economic growth trend; great loss in social wealth; higher degree of dependence on external economy. Lessons from the southeastern financial crisis on China's economic development are as follows: (1)Attach importance to the adjustment of economic structure and maintain soundness and stability in marco-economic environment. (2) Prevent and eliminate financial risks timely and effectively. (3)Realize the separation of government and enterprise and accelerate the transformation of governmental functions. (4)The reform of financial liberalization should be carried out step by step. (5)Flexible policies are to be adopted in foreign exchange rate system. |
