| Tiivistelmä: | Strategic planning and strategic management have become the front runners of management consultancy. Every bank which holds itself in high esteem can produce an actual/ideal portfolio. However, the plans usually exist only in the drawer. The linking of strategic and operative plans as well as their successful implementation constitute a real challenge for the management. To meet the requirements an instrument has been developed. The objectives, procedures, and some empirical results of this instrument, namely vertical training, are described. It is a technique of participative management which strengthens employee motivation, improves organizational communication and helps in conflict resolution. |
