Tiivistelmä:The market for confectionery markets in Denmark, Norway and Sweden has been analysed in the report. Slow fluctuating market growth has characterized the Scandinavian confectionery market over the last four years with a 9.6 % increase from volume sales of 191,800 tonnes in 1988 to 210,200 tonnes in 1991. Chocolate confectionery is the larger of the two sectors with higher overall shares by value than by volume given the higher prices commanded by chocolate over sugar. The largest market in Scandinavia is Sweden with a market size of 88,900 tonnes of confectionery in 1991. The three major confectionery concerns are Freia Marabon A/S, Cloette Fazer Production AB and Nora Industrier Group.
