Tiivistelmä:Following reunification, Euromonitor has decided to focus this report, where possible on both the old and new German States. Thus, all market size, market sector and future forecast figures subsequent to, and including, 1991 will refer to unified Germany. However, since data on the combined market are still in the process of being collated several sections of the study, such as advertising and prices and margins, will relate solely to the former Federal Republic. In order to clarify the point of reference, the terms West and East Germany, although obsolete, have been employed.
