Tiivistelmä:This report covers the Italian market for gardening products. Included within the scope of this analysis are houseplants and outdoor plants, (sales of which are very high in Italy owing in part to the large number of balcony and patio gardens), garden furniture, lawnmowers and bush cutters, irrigation systems, hand tools, garden chemicals of all descriptions, plant pots and seeds and bulbs. Sheds and greenhouses (sales of which are in any event modest) are excluded. The Italian gardening market has shown dynamic growth over recent years with the market value of the sectors included in this report estimated at L2.838 billion 1992, up some 17% up on sales in 1991.
