Tiivistelmä:This report considers the Italian market for vitamins and dietary supplements. The vitamins and dietary supplements market is small in Italy, but has grown rapidly in recent years. Over 15 million units were consumed in 1991 worth L76 billion. Supply is dominated by domestically produced products and, unusually in the Italian OTC market, the best selling single brand is Italian. There is little product innovation and no advertising outside the specialist press.
