Tiivistelmä: | Confectionery is one of the few sectors in the international food market showing steady in most industrialised countries as well as generally providing above average margins. Confectionery can be broken down into chocolate and sugar confectionery. The former includes such products as chocolate bars, countlines, pralines and boxed assortments whilst sugar confectionery includes chewing gum , pastilles, jellies, boiled sweets, toffees and nougat. Related snack products such as biscuits, flour confectionery and ice cream confectionery are excluded from the scope of this report. |
