Tiivistelmä:The market for white goods was adversely affected by the gloomy economic situation in 1992. Household penetration of many large kitchen appliances is high , with growth stemming from replacement purchases. Home laundry appliances are the largest sector, accounting for over 31% of unit sales in 1992 and close to 39% of market value. Microwave ovens are the fastest-growing sector by volume, having increased sales by over 86% between 1988 and 1992.
