Items covered include car radio-cassette players or combis, car radios and compact disc or CD players. Specifically excluded are ancillary products as separate aerials or amplifiers, although such items together comprise a considerable market in their own right. Following reunification, the report is focused, wherever possible, on both the old and new German states or Bundesländer. Thus, all market sector, market size and future forecast figures starting from 1991 will refer to the unified Germany.
