Tiivistelmä: | The survey report analyzes the car aftermarket in Spain. The aftermarket is defined as comprising all additional equipment and parts which are bought for the car following its purchase. The study is divided into four sections: car care products, car security, in-car electronics and replacement parts. The automobile industry is one of Spain's key industries with Spain situated third among manufacturers on a European level and fifth on a worldwide basis. The car aftermarket is driven by the size and age of the car parc. In Spain, car ownership remains below the EU average suggesting room for growth in the market given more favourable economic conditions. |
