Tiivistelmä: | This report highlights the key trends and analyses the retail market for deodorants in Italy. In other markets there are two main market sectors, namely deodorants and anti-perspirants. However in Italy anti-perspirants are virtually non-existent. Euromonitor has broken down the market into two broad forms of sector analysis by format, and by target user. The seasonality of deodorants sales is declining as deodorants become part of the everyday personal care routine of Italians. Although deodorants were almost exclusively targeted at women, since the mid-1980s, in line with the development of toiletries aimed at a male audience, shelf space has also given to male-specific products. |
