Tiivistelmä:The report examines the German market for baby care and includes products marketed for babies and young children, regardless of whether the end-user is in fact a baby, child or adult. Growth in the German market for baby care products was restricted by the declining birth-rate over most of the review period, but benefited from an increase in the importance placed on convenient, natural-based baby care by parents and the rising number of young and adult users. Euromonitor predicts that baby care market will rise in value over the period 1996-2001, benefiting form the expected continuation of the growth in the birth-rate in Germany.
