Tiivistelmä:This report provides an overview of the market for frozen food in France. For the purposes of the report, the authors have divided the market into the following nine main sectors: frozen processed red meat; frozen processed poultry; frozen processed fish/seafood; frozen processed vegetables; frozen potatoes; frozen bakery products; frozen desserts; frozen ready meals; other frozen foods. Sales of processed frozen food are showing strong signs of maturity. Despite the 23% increase in advertising investment in 2000 on all frozen food (Syndicat National des Fabricants de Produits Surgeles (SNFPS), national syndicate of frozen food manufacturers), sales of processed frozen food increased by just 1% in volume terms and 1.1% in value terms in 2000.
