Tiivistelmä:This report analyses the market for contract foodservice in Germany. For the purposes of the study, the contract foodservice market has been divided into the following eight sectors: business/industry; education; health/welfare; national security; onboard; travel; leisure. Contract foodservice is defined as designated contract/concession foodservice arranged by the management of a particular institution, service or business with an independent foodservice company in a business to business arrangement. The food preparation is carried out either on the premises of the institution, service or business, or off site and then brought to the site. Contract foodservice form part of the wider on-site foodservice market that includes in-house foodservice operations.
