| Tiivistelmä: | The events that shook the financial markets in the autumn of 1987 arose severe questions concerning company treasurers, particularly in the upper levels of management. New methods and fields of activity are defined for the treasurer's office and the difficulties that may hamper its development are identified. It is the task of the treasurer of the company to assess totally the financial risks taken by the company and to determine the global balance of the enterprise. Further, it is his duty to permanently make important financial decisions. The treasurer must be objective when taking into account the changes occurring in the market. There must be permanent contacts with the financial director of the company. |
