| Tiivistelmä: | The aim of the article is to analyze the impacts of quality assessment, called "total evaluation" that was carried out at Jyvaskyla University in 1992-93. Analytically, the starting point is to analyze both direct and indirect impacts of quality assessment that have led to expected and unexpected outcomes. The authors focus on the topic of teaching, research and institutional decision-making using the data gathered by interviews, through questionnaires, and by analyzing the planning documents of the University. |
