| Tiivistelmä: | During the last decades, the removal of a large number of barriers for the mobility of goods, services and financial resources as well as the rapid development of computer and communication technology has stimulated globalization of business. These developments made many management scholars envisage the processes leading to a homogenization of business practices. This is the main focus of the European Union supported research program "The creation of European management practice" (CEMP). In addition to business practices. The project focuses on three other interrelated fields that are under pressure for homogenization: academic institutes, publications and consultancies. This article highlights the first part of the project. |
