| Tiivistelmä: | The paper presents a performance evaluation for the global semiconductor industry. The evaluation is conducted through a series of comparative analyses based on company-level variables. The paper shows that U.S, Japanese and emerging South Korean and Taiwanese semiconductor companies have become the major competitors globally. These companies hold different comparative strenghts as to the multiple evaluation criteria in the paper. |
