| Tiivistelmä: | It is a major challenge for enterprises in economic environments in transition to respond to rapid and radical change. The adaptability of companies and its relationship to company performance is examined using an information processing approach. Samples of U.S. and Romanian companies are examined. Adaptation approaches of American and Romanian companies are compared taking into consideration differences in the business environments and in the corporate culture. The relationship between adaptability and performance is found to be non-linear. |
