Tiivistelmä:American companies have an opportunity to become part of the consumer revolution in the People's Republic of China (PRC) as a result of the market policies introduced in the late 1980's by Deng Xiaoping. Management accountants and financial managers, however, need to be aware that legal and accounting regualtions are changing constantly in the PRc, so it is essential that companies get advice from local professional sources before they undertake any business. The guidelines in this article are brief and include some discussion about legislation in force.
