| Tiivistelmä: | According to statistics, China's actually utilized foreign investment, accumulated in the period 1979-1997 amounted to US$ 348.3 billion and has reached over US$40 billion in both recent two years. There is no doubt that the introduction of a large amount of investment has played an active role in easing and making up the inadequate funds, promoting the rapid development of foreign economy and trade and accelerating the establishment of system of socialist market economy. But at the same time many problems and contradictions have cropped up too. |
