| Tiivistelmä: | Since the export demand elasiticity of township enterprises in China is -1.2717, it obviously satisfy the Marshell-Lerner condition under China's export circumstances and therefore guarantee the effectiveness of depreciation policy of exchange rates. Three drastic depreciations of RMB since 1989 have all effectively stimulated the increase of township enterprises' export by a large margin. Meanwhile the appreciation of RMB exchange rate imposes great pressure on the export of township enterprises. As far as time is concerned, influences on export of township enterprises caused by changes in RMB exchange rate are obviously different from the time-lag of national total export. |
