| Tiivistelmä: | Multinationals are carrying out a structural transformation on Chinese economy. Different from other foreign investment (mainly small and medium-sized investment from H.K., Macao and Taiwan), they mainly invest in capital-intensive and technology-intensive lines. On the whole, entry of multinationals is beneficial to the transformation of China's economic structure towards a structure with an even higher resource allocation efficiency. Multinationals make income distributions within an industry and among industries even unequal. Therefore, China should firmly its basis policy of utilizing foreign capital and encouraging multinationals to invest in China. |
