| Tiivistelmä: | Strategic management is generally regarded as the best guarantee of long term corporate success. In practice, however, problems often arise only when attempts are made to implement these concepts and empirical research has revealed that as many as 90 per cent of all strategic concepts then prove to be inadequate. Very little attention has been paid in the literature to the organisational prerequisities for the effective implementation of corporate strategies. A dual approach to the problem is presented, which integrates aspects of both structural and cultural development in an overall strategic concept and focuses on the problems of implementation, and thus promises optimal achievement of strategic goals. |
