Tiivistelmä:In this paper the authors review some of the evidence in support of using story-telling in organizational contexts. The article states that stories are the sharing of intricate knowledge. They often promote physical and emotional reactions. They have a reasonableness that is often not rational, but dear and easy to communicate. The author consider the idea that they help us to work through complex situations in ways that may be based on logic, but may also be based on experience, emotion, metaphor and allegory. They are in that sense the perfect tool for the age of intricacy the authors live in. The paper provides a substantial list of references, figures and table on this subject.
