Tiivistelmä: | The Business, Emotional, Technical (BET) approach provides a model for women entrepreneurs wishing to establish and grow their own business. Often working in turbulent and evolving environments, such women can benefit from mentoring strategies which reflect their changing needs. The model reverses the 'classical' model of mentoring where the 'mentee' is cast typically as the recipient or beneficiary of some provider organisation who set up a mentor-mentee link through schemes or initiatives which monitor the 'provision' of the 'service'. This model places entrepreneurs in a more proactive position, establishing and managing their own evolving networks of mentors, concomitant with their own identified need. |
