Tiivistelmä:Four theories of human nature characterize the deeply embedded belief structures of organizational life. Organizational members may take a democratic, modern, totalitarian or hermeneutic perspective of human nature. These theories influence organizational structuring and guide managerial behavior. By using models of human nature, organizational researchers can add to explanatory theory in the sociology of organizations. In addition, research issues regarding organizational control and decision making can be seen in a new light.
