| Tiivistelmä: | The differences between Uk and other Community country retail pharmacists are more compelling than the similarities. The cost containing measures of the health reforms affect the UK sector so far as the number of pharmacies has declined, profit margins are coming under pressure, and small independents experience an increased threat of being acquired by large multiples. Changes in the existing EU legislation and the Commission proposals concerning pharmaceuticals will have, potentially, considerable impact on the retail pharmacy sector in the UK. |
