| Tiivistelmä: | TQM has been applied to a wide range of processes however, the design engineering process has had difficulty in applying TQM techniques. Westinghouse Electric has developed the electronic change request (ECR) as a vehicle to monitor, measure, and continuously improve the creative design process. The results indicate that the ECR is helping drive quality to a maximum. |
