| Tiivistelmä: | The paper presented deals with the application of the Discriminant Analysis as an instrument for early recognition of negative business tendencies. In the area of conflict of practical interest and practical realization of DA-models for the purpose of decision making the application of an estimated discriminant function based on simulated data is demonstrated and discussed. The simulated data used base on statistically observed meanvalues of annual accounts of comparable enterprises. With the above mentioned discriminant function a classification of enterprises in the mutually exclusive classes "solvent" and "insolvent" is realized. |
