| Tiivistelmä: | This paper examines the differences and similarities of charismatic leadership between Canadian and Iranian executives. In spite of fundamental cultural differences, there is evidence of core similarities in the profiles of Canadian and Iranian managers. However, Iranian managers' ratings are considerably lower than those of the Canadian managers, suggesting potentially different behavioural manifestations. It is also argued that the similarities may derive from universal intrinsic human desire for morality, autonomy and achievement. |
