Tiivistelmä:This article assesses the relationship between organizational commitment, identification and affect at work. The results show correlation between commitment and experiencing more positive affective states. However, continuance commitment was not characterized as involving significant negative affect. Identification was correlated with the frequency of positive and negative affective states, but not significantly with positive ones when controlling for affective commitment. Based on the results, the article concludes by commenting the nature of organizational commitment and identification.
