| Tiivistelmä: | Venture capital is an independent, quickly developing kind of finance, which is based on original methodological fundamentals, absolutely different from the principles of other, more traditional financing methods. Born in the United States in the 40s, venturing has step by step conquered the industrially developed world and by the early 70s has reached France. With the development of venture financing its methodological basis has grown also considerably stronger and comprehensive theory of venturing has appeared. Utilizing the results of a study carried out on two French venture capital firms, an analysis is offered on how the American theory of venture financing works in France. |
