Tiivistelmä: | Until now management studies have focused principally on the industrial sector. The author turns his attention to the service sector, for which he has developed a service typology. The author's theses are based on the general rules that have emerged from experience /expert knowledge/, the relevant literature and the results of his own empirical research in this field. The conclusion is a thesis that in the service sector decisive competition advances can be achieved by considering the consumer more and more as part of the enterprise. The service sector enterprises have to develop social strategies for the consumers. |
