Tiivistelmä: | How do successful companies differ from their competitors? This crucial question for every management was the subject of a field study made by the University of Zurich. The success factors in eight Swiss companies were investigated. New, well-grounded research methods were used. The process of company selection for research purposes is described. The most important results are summarized. The success factors are grouped as follows: 1. general management; 2. human resource management; 3. organizational structure; 4. marketing, innovation and company development. The results have proved that company success depends on the interplay of many factors. Some important observations about the diagnostic tools are made. |
