| Tiivistelmä: | The potential of specific technology forecasting techniques may be enhanced by recent developments in our understanding of the process and dynamics of technological change and diffusion. The paper explores some of those concepts and integrates them with a perspective approach to the development of a methodology for defining and focusing the objectives of a company technology forecast. Once the objective of the exercise is clarified in this way it has been found that the choice of which forecasting technique is appropriate becomes more readily identifiable. |
