| Tiivistelmä: | In 1995, China's foreign trade continued to grow rapidly. According to the Customs' statistics, the volume of import and export totalled USD 245.15 billion, an increase of 22.4% over the same period of last year. Among it, the volume of export was USD 131.53 billion and that of import was USD 113.62 billion, an increase of 28.3% and 16.3% respectively. The key points of foreign trade work in 1996 are as follows: extending efforts to make export maintain sustained growth; expanding new markets to realize the diversification of markets; bettering macro control and perfecting the management of imports and exports; adjusting in time to maintain the balance of international payment and the stability of exchange rates. |
