| Tiivistelmä: | There are now more than 2800 information institutions with 13,000 employed staff in Shenzhen special economic zone. As early as 1992, "The Outline of the Development of Shenzhen's Tertiary Industry" formulated by Shenzhen special economic zone pointed out clearly that by the year 2000, the output value of information industry would reach 4.14 billion yuan with average annual growth rate of 25% and its proportion to the zone's GDP would in crease from 1.7% in 1991 to 4.6% in 2000. The development of information industry will depend on the comprehensive effectiveness of economic construction and the perfection of information institutions themselves. |
