| Tiivistelmä: | At present, there are more than 180 databases with relatively strong capacity in Shenzhen. Furthermore, there are 2800 information service firms. The added value of information service industry amounts to 13.5 billion yuan. The municipal government's decision-making information network has been established and the network of social public information service is in operation. However, there still exists the unbalance of internal structure of information industry. In addition, there is the problem of weak ability of independent development. Policy suggestions are as follows: establish new industry groups which concentrate on information industry and promote the industrial structure to be transformed into the knowledge- intensive type; excourage and support the development of information industry and so on. |
