| Tiivistelmä: | Since 1996 the grain output has been around 500 million tons for four years while the demand has stabilized at 4.75 million tons. Under such circumstances the grain production target should be changed from supply to the satisfaction of the society's effective demand. We should try to implement the appropriate scale of operation of land and accelerate the transfer of agricultural labor to increase farmers' income, make efforts to develop grain market and establish China's agricultural products market system in line with internationally accepted principles, pay special attention to the establishment of market information system, accelerate the construction of wholesale markets in the producing areas and perfect regional grain equilibrium system. |
