| Tiivistelmä: | In spite of the worldwide downsizing in nearly all industries, the high-tech-industry for telecommunication has very favourable perspectives of growth. Due to increasing communication needs in commercial and private areas, in connection with fast technological development and the liberalization of economic conditions, the forecasted growth-rate of this industry is double as high as that of the GNP of OECD countries. The increasing economic importance of customers and suppliers of telecommunication equipment is evident. In light of this, the strategic options of German suppliers are empirically and theoretically analyzed. |
