| Tiivistelmä: | Russia's first stage of economic transformation, commencing in the early 1990s, has encountered substantial difficulties, particularly with regard to industrial R&D and the overall system of technological innovation. However, the innovation system is by no means in a state of total collapse. First of all, considerable destruction was inevitable in a new economic environment and, second, a process of spontaneous adjustment has brought about some positive changes. |
