| Tiivistelmä: | Although much is written on the institutional processes surrounding technology development and adoption, relatively little attention has been given to the social cognition that drives innovation in new information systems. These authors introduce the notion of organizing vision and explain how a collective, cognitive view of new technologies enables success in information systems innovation both within and across firms. Readers will find linkages to classical ideas in institutional theory, but there are many fresh ideas here as well. |
