| Tiivistelmä: | Science and technology played an important role in the economic development in Shenzhen during the Eighth five-year Plan period. To realize the shift of economic growth mode depending on SCI-tech progress, stress should be put on deepening our understanding and having a full knowledge of Deng Xiaoping's assertion that "science and technology represent the top productive force". Moreover, we have to optimize industrial structure, depend on SCI-tech progress and further promote the development of tertiary industry. Besides, we should insist on the combination of introduction with training of personnel in a effort to establish a contingent of excellent scientists and technicians,- commercial and industrialization of SCI-tech achievements, accelerate the SCI-tech progress of enterprises and support actively the development of civilian-run SCI-tech companies. |
