Tiivistelmä:Radio frequency identification (RFID) has already been successfully implemented in several areas. The next implementation is expected to come in retail where RFID will be embedded in products, on shelves, and at check-out points for value-added sales and post-purchase services. This paper aims at charting the field of RFID, addressing the research, and concluding with a call for a more encompassing research agenda on RFID and consumers.
