| Tiivistelmä: | How to learn to understand technical risks and thus how to control them in a better manner is discussed. The human being has always made use of technical aids. In particular, the Second World War produced a flood of innovations in the military sector, and afterwards in the capital goods and consumer areas. Although the technical innovations have followed at an ever-increasing pace over the last few years, they have also become much more complicated. As a consequence of this, it has become increasingly difficult to master them and necessitates the use of suitably adapted system engineering methods. |
