| Tiivistelmä: | The diffusion of a new technology of production depends on both its own characteristics in terms of profit and technical capabilities as well as general conditions for investment. The most important aim of analysis is to make explicit how diffusion processes are the combined results of investment behaviour and learning in connection with the new equipments. Simple assumptions on the key factors relevant to opt for modern equipment, when investing, in a world of bounded rationality, lead to estimations in the case of the textile industry in a set of 16 countries. |
